Destrago hero

Dastrago is an iOS app built in 5 days that tracks the journey of people trying to build healthier habits, logging progress day by day and reinforcing that consistency matters more than perfection.

The Apple Developer Academy PUCPR challenge was straightforward: in one week, build a tool that genuinely helps someone. Think, design, and code. Dastrago was my answer, an app where users log whether they kept their commitment that day and get a positive nudge either way.

An app built in 5 days, from scratch to working product.

Taking care of your health is one of the most common goals, but few products make it simple to track that progress honestly. Dastrago was my answer to that gap, built during a one-week Apple Developer Academy PUCPR challenge: an app where users log whether they kept their commitment that day and get a positive nudge either way.

Consistency, not perfection.

Dastrago works with one simple daily check-in: did you keep your commitment or not. After each answer, the user gets a motivational message reinforcing that setbacks are part of the process. Progress stays visible in a calendar view, giving a clear picture of how far they've come.

Closing the full product loop: concept, design, and Swift code, all in one week.

Beyond designing every screen, I built the app in Swift. From the daily logging logic to the calendar progress view. Working alongside mentors and peers at the Academy, the project was a chance to go from problem to working product in a single sprint.
